How to Breed Pocket Frogs

"Pocket Frogs" is a popular game designed by Nimblebit for Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. In the course of the game, you will collect different types of wild frogs and create a habitat for them to live in. You can then tame your pocket frogs by taking them to the pond. After you tame your pocket frogs, you can begin breeding them with other wild frogs from the pond.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the pond in your "Pocket Frogs" game. The pond is where you can breed your frog. You can only breed your frog if it is mature and tame. You can make your frog mature quickly by having it eat dragonflies.

    • 2

Hop from lily pad to lily pad. Once your frog lands on a lily pad with a wild frog, you can choose the option to leave the lily pad or breed with the wild frog. If your frog is not mature, the wild frog will leave the lily pad and swim away.

    • 3

Move hatched frogs from your nursery to the habitat. If you have a full nursery with too many frog eggs, you will not be able to continue breeding until you have moved the hatched frogs from the nursery to your habitat.

    • 4

Build multiple habitats. You can hold up to eight frogs per habitat. Your frogs within the habitat can also breed. The traits that your frogs have will determine what kind of baby frogs will be born. If you breed two frogs with similar traits, you will get a similar frog; however, if you breed a frog with three traits, with one of two traits, the potential outcome will have a broader range.

    • 5

Keep your frogs happy by feeding them dragonflies and decorating their habitat. Taking them to the pond often is the way to make them happy and successful breeders.
