How to Submit a Complaint to Google

Google operates many different Internet and mobile services such as Google web search, Gmail, Android software or AdSense. If you find material on one of those services which violates your privacy rights or which is simply illegal, you can submit a complaint to Google in just a few steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Internet browser and visit the "Removing Content from Google" page on the "Help" section of Google's website.

    • 2

Click on the radio button next to the Google service you want to complain about. This will open a new section with additional options.

    • 3

Click on the radio button next to the sentence which best describes the nature of your complaint.

    • 4

Follow the instructions which appear at the bottom of the page. Depending on the nature of your complaint, you might have to fill in a form on a new page or you might have to contact another department.

Tips & Warnings

  • Give as many details as you can when submitting a complaint to Google. This helps them better identify your problem.
