How to Bookmark a Site
The Internet is comprised of millions and millions of websites. You can easily find a handful of sites you enjoy and visit regularly. As this number of regular sites grows, you may have trouble recalling every URL you frequent. Web browser has a feature called "bookmarks" -- you mark a website and the browser remembers it for you. You can then select the site you want to visit from a list of favorites. Internet Explorer and Firefox are two of the most widely used web browsers; setting up bookmarks in both only takes a few clicks of your mouse.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Type the URL of the website you want to bookmark into Internet Explorer's address bar, and then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

Click "Favorites" in the menu bar at the top of your screen. This opens a drop-down menu. Bookmarks are called "favorites" in Internet Explorer.

Click "Add to favorites." The Add a Favorite window opens.

Click the "Add" button in the bottom right corner of the window. This bookmarks the site.
Mozilla Firefox

Visit the website you want to bookmark. Type its URL in the address bar, and then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

Click "Bookmarks" in the menu bar at the top of the screen. This opens a drop-down menu.

Select "Bookmark This Page" in the drop-down menu. This will add the site to your bookmarks.
