How to Delete the Artboard in Illustrator

The Artboard tool is a feature of Adobe Illustrator. It allows designers to edit graphics for printing, Web and other media purposes. In an Adobe Illustrator document, users can have up to 100 active artboards simultaneously. These artboards can be used for cropping images, defining graphic boundaries, overlapping and resizing images. Deleting an artboard is a simple process.

Instructions

1. Launch Adobe Illustrator and open the document that contains the artboard you want to delete.

2. Click to select the artboard you wish to delete.

3. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard or click the "Delete" button in the Adobe Illustrator Control Panel.
