How to Get a Genie in "Perfect World"
In the online game "Perfect World," players use genies as companions for their characters. Genies have the ability to level, have skills to acquire and have equipment that players can buy for them through the Watcher of the Earth. As characters advance through the game, they have the opportunity to obtain more genies. Characters can have as many genies as they have slots in their inventory, but they can use only one genie at a time.

Travel to any of the major cities in the game.

Find the Watcher of the Earth. He will always be located close to an Elder.

Receive a quest from the Watcher of the Earth. Complete the quest to receive a genie.

Open the Genie profile window.

Click the "Trade State" button at the bottom of the window. The "Trade status" window opens. Click the "Change Status" button.

Wait seven days for a genie to convert to the Trade State. The Trade State allows you to trade, sell or discard a genie.

Hold the "Alt" key and right-click the player you are going to make the trade with. If the player accepts your request, then the "Trade" window will open. The player will place his genie in your top section of the "Trade" window. Place the item you are trading for the genie in the lower section, or enter a gold amount if you are going to purchase the genie from the player. Click the "Confirm" button to complete the trade.

Tips & Warnings
At the first level, every player can get an initial genie for free. To acquire other genies, a player must either complete a quest or purchase a genie from the Watcher of the Earth.
