How to Draw a Gun Silencer
A gun silencer, or firearm sound suppressor, is a device that is attached to the barrel of a gun for the purpose of dampening the sound that a firearm makes when discharged. The gun silencer is generally a metal cylinder that is fitted onto the end of a gun, making the barrel of the gun appear longer. Indeed, a silencer is virtually an extension of the barrel. To draw a gun silencer, decide what type of gun you want to draw.

1
Draw your gun. Depending on the gun you have drawn, you will want to draw the silencer to scale.
-
2
Research the silencer. A handgun silencer will be about the length of the gun's barrel, a rifle silencer will be roughly 1/6 the barrel size, and a shotgun silencer will be about the size and shape of an aluminum can.

3
Draw the silencer. You will draw it the same way you drew the gun barrel, but you will want to make it a tad wider in diameter. With your scale in mind, draw the shape of the silencer, rounding off the end. For a shotgun silencer, draw the shape of a soda can coming off the end of the double barrel, substantially wider than the barrel itself.
