Copy and paste multiple URLs to save them or send them to someone else.

When you're doing research for a school or work assignment, you may have to consult several online articles. If you need to record a large number of articles, you may wish to save their URLs or send the addresses to someone else. The most convenient way to copy and paste multiple URLs is to paste them, one by one, into a text file. Once all of the URLs are pasted in the text file, you can copy all of them into memory and paste them in an email, if you like.

Instructions

    • 1

Highlight the first address by clicking at either end of the URL and dragging the mouse to the opposite end. Copy the first URL into memory by pressing "Ctrl" + "C." The first URL is stored in memory.

    • 2

Open a word processor, such as WordPad. To do so, click "Start," "All Programs", "Accessories" and "WordPad." Right-click in the blank file, and select "Paste."

    • 3

Browse to the second article. Highlight the URL, and press "Ctrl" + "C."

    • 4

Right-click in the WordPad document. Click at the end of the first address, and press "Enter" to create a new line.

    • 5

Right-click on the new line, and select "Paste."

    • 6

Repeat the process until each URL you want to save is copied to the text file. Copy all of the addresses at once by clicking "Ctrl" + "A" in the WordPad window and then pressing "Ctrl" + "C."

    • 7

Paste all of the addresses in your desired location, such as a new email. For example, in Gmail, select "Compose," and right-click in the message box. Select "Paste" to post all of the URLs in the email. Enter a recipient email address and subject. Press "Send" to send the addresses.
