How to Draw Knuckle's Hoverboard

Use red markers to color in the hoverboard.

Sonic Free Riders is a spinoff of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game. It is one of several racing games that features Sonic and his friends Knuckles and Tails. The game features the characters all riding on hoverboards that have different strengths. Knuckles' hoverboard is called Red Rock; it has off-roading durability and can break through objects on the track.

Instructions

1. Draw a long, horizontal peanut shape that slants up and to the right.

2. Draw diagonal lines from the widest part of the left half of the peanut extending out past the base of the peanut. The lines should be parallel.

3. Draw short diagonal lines a quarter of the way in from the first diagonal lines. The lines should extend out farther than the first diagonal lines. Connect the first line to the second line with another diagonal line, making two diamond-like shapes.

4. Draw a curved line from the middle of the short diagonal lines and parallel to the base of the peanut.

5. Draw a long slanting oval inside the peanut. The sides of the oval should touch the inward curving lines of the peanut shape. Draw many parallel lines from the top and bottom edges of the oval.

6. Draw very short, downward vertical lines from the tips of the diamonds, the right corner of the closest diamond and the front-right edge of the peanut. Draw a diagonal line from the bottom of the short vertical line on the back diamond to the curved line.

7. Connect the remaining vertical lines with a line parallel to the shape of the hoverboard. Outline the hoverboard in ink, let dry and erase any leftover pencil lines.
