How to Hook an iPhone Up to a TV Using Audio Composite Cables
To watch your iPhone's media on your TV, you can connect your devices using either a composite or a component cable. If you look on the back of your TV, you will see either a yellow video input port or blue, green and red video ports. Use a composite cable if you have yellow; otherwise, you should use a component cable. Use a composite or component cables that feature the Apple dock connector, as standard AV cables cannot be connected to the iPhone.
