The Nike App connects your running shoes to your iPod or iPhone to help you track your running, including your running time, distance, estimated calorie burn. At the time of publication, the app is available on the iPod touch, iPod Nano and the iPhone. It connects wirelessly to a receiver that can be purchased with "Nike +" running shoes, which include a compartment to place the receiver in the shoe's insole.
