How to Handle a PayPal Claim
PayPal is a service that connects buyers and sellers, allowing easy and safe payments for auctions, website purchases and services. When a buyer is unhappy with the goods or services they receive, they file a claim with PayPal. PayPal acts as an intermediary and works with the buyer and the seller to come to a solution. If you are a seller and have received a PayPal claim against you, make sure you give PayPal the information necessary to close the claim.

Tips & Warnings
Read and respond to the initial buyer dispute. When a buyer is unhappy with the goods or services they receive, the first step is for the buyer to file a dispute. At this stage, PayPal is not directly involved in the claim. You can stop the dispute from escalating to a claim by refunding the buyer their money.
