How to Get the Shadow Spear in "AQW"

The "Shadow Spear," considered one of the best non-member weapons attainable in "AdventureQuest Worlds," must be obtained from the Fiend of the Underworld, Nulgath. He used to be known as Miltonius, and many of the items attainable from him are still named after his old name, such as the Sword of Miltonius. To find the dark fiend, you must first travel to the underworld, known as Tercessuinotlim. You can get there via the Citadel or Battleon.

Things You'll Need

• 35 Tainted Gems
• 35 Dark Crystal Shards
• One Diamond of Miltonius
• 1 Voucher of Miltonius.

Instructions

1. Talk to Nulgath and get the "Piercing Shadow" quest. To complete the quest, the player must obtain 35 Tainted Gems, 35 Dark Crystal Shards, one Diamond of Miltonius and a Voucher of Miltonius.

2. Purchase the Voucher of Miltonius from a vendor for 1,000,000 gold. Only one Voucher of Miltonius can be on a character at a time.

3. Obtain Tainted Gems by completing other quests and killing monsters in Tercessuinotlim

4. Obtain Dark Crystal Shards by completing other quests and killing monsters in Tercessuinotlim.

5. Obtain the Diamond of Miltonius by completing other quests in Tercessuinotlim.

6. Turn in all the items to Nulgath to finish the quest. You will receive the "Shadow Spear" as a quest reward.
