How to Save a Document in .RTF
The rich text format, or RTF, is a encoding structure that enables sharing documents across various applications and operating systems. A document that contains formatted images and text that is saved in one application as RTF can be opened with the formatting retained in another application that reads RTF. Many word-processing applications read and write RTF.

Open the document using your word-processing application.
