How to Delete PDM Invader

If you run the Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 program, you may occasionally see warnings that a certain application (often Outlook) is infected with "PDM Invader." Oddly enough, Kaspersky will offer no options to remove it, but that's because PDM invader is a "false positive" sometimes delivered by this program. There is no such virus. To delete PDM Invader, then, requires deleting the PDM Invader messages. You can do so in Kaspersky.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

    • 2

Click "Settings" in the upper right corner.

    • 3

Click "Threats and Exclusions," and then click "Settings."

    • 4

      Click "Trusted Applications."

    • 5

Click "Add" and select the application for which you are receiving the PDM Invader notice.

    • 6

Click "OK." The false PDM Invader notices will be deleted.
