How to Get Rid of Uesiuqcr.Exe

Fake anti-spyware programs are designed to procure your financial information.

Uesiuqcr.exe is an executable file that is part of the Trojan.FakeAlert virus. Trojan.FakeAlert installs itself onto your computer without your consent and immediately begins downloading additional malware, including fake anti-spyware designed to scare you into wasting your money. Moreover, Trojan.FakeAlert slows your computer and reduces your available system memory. Getting rid of uesiuqcr.exe may slow the Trojan down, but it will not completely remove the Trojan. Therefore, you should run an anti-malware program in addition to deleting uesiuqcr.exe.

Instructions

1. Press "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Escape" to open the Task Manager.

2. Click the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager.

3. Right-click "uesiuqcr.exe" and select "End Process."

4. Close the Task Manager.

5. Click "Start" and type "uesiuqcr.exe" into the Search field. Right-click "uesiuqcr.exe" in the resulting list and select "Delete."

• If you have trouble locating uesiuqcr.exe in the Task Manager, click the "Image Name" heading to view the list of processes in alphabetical order.
