How to View Places on Facebook
Facebook's Places feature allows you to "check in" to Place pages on Facebook when you are present at those places in the real world. Users can see where their friends are, arrange spur-of-the-moment meetings, and see what places are popular amongst their social circle. Because the point of Places is to note where you are when you're not at your desk, its full features are only accessible on mobile devices like phones or tablets. You can access Places through the Facebook mobile app (available at facebook.com/mobile) or, if your device does not support the app, through Facebook's mobile-friendly Web interface.
