Mailbox Size Limits

The amount of mail your mailbox can hold depends on the style of mailbox for your account. In the unified inbox, emails stay in your Inbox and Sent folder until you delete them. In the original style mailbox, the new mail folder holds 1,000 messages and the old mail folder holds up to 4,000. In both systems, you can create folders to save messages to. These folders can hold up to 5,000 messages each.
