Roundup Quikpro is a powerful post-emergent herbicide designed to start killing unwanted growth in as little as twenty-four hours. Quickpro is intended to be used around fences, posts, curbs and in other areas that are difficult for trimmers and other lawn tools to reach. The herbicide is sold in a concentrated form and needs to be mixed with water prior to application. The ratio of Quickpro herbicide to water depends on where the herbicide is being applied.
Mix one and a half ounces of quickpro with one gallon of water before applying the solution to shrubs and flower beds or in the ring surrounding tree trunks. The same ratio should be used when eliminating dense brush and vine growth.
Experiment with a mixture of anywhere from five to nine ounces of Quickpro per acre of Bermuda or Bahia grass. Caution should be used as delayed greenup may result if more than nine ounces of Quickpro per acre is applied. Take care to only apply the Quickpro while the grass is dormant prior to Spring greenup.
Wait for the Quickpro mixture to dry before allowing pets or people to enter an area that has been treated. Reapply the mixture to any areas of unwanted growth that appear in the days following treatment. Finally, always wait at least seven days before tilling the soil in area that has been treated so that underground plant parts might be reached by the Quickpro solution.
