How to Remove Adobe Catalyst From a MacBook Pro

The Adobe Flash Catalyst software provides tools for combining your digital art projects into projects for distribution over the Internet. Remove the software before you upgrade to a newer version of Adobe Catalyst or if you no longer have any use for the program. Unlike other operating systems, your MacBook Pro's software does not require an uninstaller or removal tool to clear a program from your hard drive. In Mac OS X, you can manage applications on your system the same way you do files of folders.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Finder," and click "Applications." A list of the programs on your computer opens.

    • 2

Click the "Adobe Catalyst" entry, and press "Command" + "Delete" to send the file to the "Trash."

    • 3

Click "Finder" on the menu bar, and click "Empty Trash." Enter the administrator password for the computer if prompted by your system to begin the removal process.
