How to Put Photoshop on Your Desktop
Photoshop is one of the premier photo editing programs out there for both amateurs and professionals. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. On both operating systems, adding Photoshop to the desktop allows you to launch the program quickly without going through the Start menu or system folders. Click the "Start" button and click "All Programs."

Scroll up the list of installed programs, right-click the Photoshop version you are using, select "Send to" and then click "Desktop (create shortcut)." The Photoshop icon automatically appears on the desktop.

Drag and drop the Photoshop icon from the Start menu to the desktop as an alternative method.
Mac Users

Click "Finder" on the dock to launch a new finder window.

Click "Applications" in the left pane to launch the Applications folder.
