How Can I Get Rid of the Fingerprint Authorization on My Laptop?
Windows 7 includes a built-in security feature that allows you to use fingerprint biometrics to login to Windows. If your laptop has a biometric fingerprint scanner, you can disable it if you'd rather use a password or no security to access your account from the Windows login screen. Located in the Windows 7 Control Panel, the "Biometric Devices" option allows you to toggle the reader on and off without having to uninstall the software or drivers associated with the biometric scanner.
