How to Make a Scatter Plot on a Graphing Calculator
A plethora of models of graphic calculators exist on the market. While all graphing calculator models have a set of individual instructions, they all follow a common procedure for creating a scatter plot. The specific steps may vary slightly; but you can intuitively apply the steps to any make or model. A scatter plot will place a series of dots on a chart to represent the set of variables you deal with.

Turn on your graphing calculator. You will find yourself in the home screen.

Press the "Stat" button and hit "Enter." If points already exist, hit "Clear." Enter your x-variable data into the first column. Enter your y-variable data into the second column.

Press "2nd." Hit "Y." The option should read "Stat plot." Hit "Enter." You will now see a scatter plot of your set of data.
