Verify you have installed Quicken 2008. You can enter your serial number by running the software. Quicken 2008 will prompt you to enter your serial number once you open the program.

Locate your serial number. You can find the serial number on the box you purchased containing Quicken 2008. Look at the back of the box where the label affixes. Locate the text stating "Serial Number." If you purchased Quicken online, you will have your serial number in your email.
