How to Delete Taxonomy VTN From Drupal
Taxonomy VTN is an add-on module for Drupal that allows you to index taxonomy terms such as categories and tags. If you no longer wish to use the module, you'll want to delete it from Drupal. To do so safely, you must first deactivate it. Taxonomy features are included with the Drupal 7 core, so the most recent version of Drupal Taxonomy VTN applies to is version 6.

Sign in to your administrator's panel. Click on "Site Building" and select "Modules."

Scroll down to the "Taxonomy VTN" module. Click on the box next to "Enable" to remove the three check marks from the module.

Scroll down and click "Save Configuration" to deactivate the Taxonomy VTN module so you can delete it safely.

Access your server's files with your Web host's file management program. You can also usually access the server via FTP using the information the Web host provided you with.

Navigate to the "Sites" folder then open the "All" folder. Open the "Modules" folder. Locate the "Taxonomy VTN" folder. Delete the folder to remove the module from Drupal.

Tips & Warnings
If you only want to delete specific taxonomy, such as tags, and not the entire Taxonomy VTN program, click on "Content" and then click on "Taxonomy." Click on "List Terms." Click "Edit" next to the term you want to delete. Click "Delete."
