When you need to stop your game in the middle of a battle, but still want to save your progress, you can perform a quick save. A quick save will save the battle and allow you to resume right where you left off upon returning to the game.

Press "Start" to open the System Menu during battle.

Select "Save" at the bottom of the menu.

Select "Yes." The game will save and you will be returned to the main menu.

Select "Load Quick Save" to continue the game where you originally stopped.

Tips & Warnings
Your quick save is deleted when you load it. If you wish to stop the battle again, you must perform the steps again.
