How to Record on VBA
The Nintendo Gameboy and its successors, such as the Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance, is a popular game console that revolutionized handheld gaming. Gamers have the opportunity to play a Gameboy on their computer with the VBA. VBA, also known as Visual Boy Advance, is a Gameboy emulator that allows gamers to play Gameboy games on a computer. In addition, VBA allows players to record sound and video to their hard drive.

Run Visual Boy Advance.

Load a game to record video or audio from by clicking the "File" menu then "Open Gameboy." Click "Open" to load the game, also called a ROM.

Click "Tools," and then click the "Record" option. There are three options to select from: "Sound Recording," "AVI recording" and "Movie Recording." AVI is a format that has higher video quality than other formats.

Click one of the three options. A save file window appears. Create a name for the file then click "Open."

Play the game, capturing all audio and action as you play.

Click "Tools," "Record" and then click "Stop Recording" to stop recording. The file will be in the location where you saved it.
