How to Draw a Ninja Star

Draw two intersecting lines as if drawing the "X" and "Y" planes on a geometry problem. Make them as symmetrical as possible

Go directly to the middle of your line and draw a circle

Draw lines, coming down from each of the four points. Make them as if you were drawing a triangle,and have each line meet the one directly adjacent to it.

Tips & Warnings
Do not be afraid to use guides. Use rulers for the lines and coins for the circles, if you want to get it right.
Graph paper will usually make the whole sketch more symmetrical.
