How to Make Slime With Corn Starch
No creepy-crawly Halloween celebration or five-year-old boy's birthday party is complete without something to gross out the guests. An inexpensive, interactive craft that children of all ages can create is homemade slime. Making slime with cornstarch is a non-toxic, inexpensive way to give your kids something to play with for hours. The key to making the slime is to gain the correct consistency that will turn the ordinary powder into a disgusting, gooey good time.
Instructions

1
Pour 2 cups corn starch into a bowl.
-
2
Add 1/4 cup water to the bowl. Stir the ingredients and check the consistency. The final consistency of the slime will be solid enough to slowly fall from your hands or a spoon.

3
Continue to add 1/8 cup water to the bowl until the desired, slimy consistency is reached.
-
4
Add 2 drops liquid food coloring to the bowl.
-
5
Stir the slime to incorporate the food coloring. Add more food coloring to the slime by the drop to achieve a deeper color, if desired.
-
6
Dig your hands into the slime. Pick it up and play with it to gross out your family members and friends. Show the kids that the consistency should be more solid and the slime should slide slowly through your fingers.
