How to Ping UTorrent

UTorrent is a file sharing application that makes use of the BitTorrent protocol to transfer information across networks such as the Internet. Sometimes the UTorrent.com website is down, resulting in limited access to additional UTorrent features such as applications and content searches. You can ping the UTorrent server to see if it is responding.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Start menu and type "Command Prompt." Click "Command Prompt" from the "Search" section of the result list.

    • 2

Type "ping utorrent.com" into the black command prompt window, then press "Enter."

    • 3

Wait as the ping process is performed. If you do not receive a response stating the server has replied, it is currently down or otherwise inaccessible.
