How to Test Megabytes Per Second
MBps, short for megabytes per second, is one of the many different ways used to measure the speed of Internet connections. You can evaluate your connection's MBps by using an Internet speed test, which determines how fast data travels from the Internet to your computer. Because Internet connections are never consistent in speed or performance, the results of the test should only be used to give you a rough idea of how fast information is traveling through your connection.
