How Do You Steal as a Thief in "The Sims 3"?

Traits are what makes each Sim different in "The Sims 3." When creating a Sim, you can select five traits from a pool of more than 30, with each trait providing special in-game interactions only for that Sim. For example, the "Kleptomaniac" trait allows your Sim to steal items from other Sims or community lots, like the park. This trait can only be selected when creating your Sim, and is useful to have if you want your Sim to join the "Criminal" profession.

Instructions

1. Travel to another Sim's house, or any neighborhood location at night.

2. Click on any location near an item.

3. Click "Swipe Something." Your Sim will steal any nearby object. Once stolen, the object is yours. This object is added to your Sim's inventory and can either be used in your house or sold.

Tips & Warnings

• Returning a stolen item will give a Sim a positive mood boost.

• If your Sim is seen stealing by another Sim, he will be arrested.
