How to Do Gang Wars in "Grand Theft Auto 4"
In "The Lost and Damned," an expansion pack for "Grand Theft Auto IV," you play as motorcycle gang member Johnny Klebitz. The goal of The Lost, Johnny's motorcycle club, is to eliminate rival clubs across Liberty City. As the new leader of the gang, you must initiate fights with other motorcycle gangs. When you do, several of your most loyal fighters join the fray with fast bikes and high-powered weaponry. The object of gang wars missions is simply to take out every rival biker on the road.

Complete the "Coming Down" mission. This in the ninth mission in the game, given to you by Johnny's girlfriend, Ashley. Finishing this mission unlocks gang wars.

Find and get on any motorcycle or scooter. If you come to the gang war in a car, you will not be allowed to participate.

Go to a weapons shop to stock up on body armor and guns. Alternatively, call Terry, an arms dealer. He comes to your location with a trunk full of weapons for sale.

Look for red and white icons on the map of Liberty City. These icons mark the location of a gang war. New gang war icons appear randomly, so check the map often.

Head to the location of the gang war icon. Your gang members appear and the fight begins. Kill all of the rival members to finish the mission.

Tips & Warnings
Every time one of your gang members survives a war, he levels up. This gives him access to better equipment.
