How to Stop Facebook in AIM

In the latest iteration of its instant messaging program, AOL offers the ability for AIM users to connect to Facebook chat from within the AIM interface. In other words, users can chat with their Facebook friends and AIM contacts from the same client. While this feature is certainly handy and streamlines the instant messaging process, some users may want to disconnect Facebook from AIM for privacy reasons. While it is simple enough to sign out of Facebook Chat in AIM, the option to completely remove the Facebook connection in the software is buried in the "Settings" menu.
