How to Track a Money Order With a Receipt

You can track money orders by contacting the financial institution that issued the money order. The company tracks the payment by your receipt or serial number. If you are the purchaser and believe the money order has been lost, damaged or stolen and the trace shows the money order has not been cashed, you may receive a refund of your purchase.
