How to Change the Name of a Network SSID on a Belkin
Belkin wireless routers are designed for homes and small businesses, and are capable of serving wireless clients within a few hundred feet of the router, depending on the environment that the router is installed. Wireless networking using the 802.11 range of standards uses a Service Set Identifier, or network name, to associate wireless clients with a wireless access point or router. You can change the name of the wireless network SSID on a Belkin router through the browser-based configuration interface.
