How to Catch Kyogre in "Pokemon SoulSilver"
In the "Pokemon" series, Kyogre is a legendary Water-type Pokemon that can cause severe flooding. With high special attack and special defense attributes, Kyogre is a powerful beast that will prove useful in battle. In addition, this Pokemon can learn abilities such as Surf, Strength and Whirlpool, which will help you navigate through obstacles throughout the game. Kyogre doesn't appear in "Pokemon SoulSilver." However, you can capture it in "Pokemon HeartGold" and trade it to the desired version of the game.

Earn the 16 Gym Badges of the Johto and Kanto regions. This will involve defeating every local Gym Leader in the game.

Travel to Mt. Silver, a cave west of Route 28.

Climb to the top of the mountain. You will need to navigate through a complex series of chambers to reach the summit. The wild Pokemon can exceed Level 50, so bring a strong team and healing items.

Defeat Red at the top of Mt. Silver. Red will use Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur, Snorlax, Lapras and Pikachu.

Go to Pallet Town, a small community in western Kanto.

Visit Professor Oak's laboratory in the southern section of town. He will allow you to choose one of three Pokemon -- Charmander, Bulbasaur or Squirtle. Choose the creature that best complements your team.

Go to Route 30 in Johto. The road extends north from Cherrygrove City.

Visit Mr. Pokemon's house on the northern tip of the Route. He will give you a Blue Orb.

Travel to Route 47, a mountainous road northwest from Cianwood City in western Johto.

Enter the Embedded Tower on the western section of the Route. Inside, Kyogre will be waiting.

Save the game. If you fail to capture Kyogre, you can restart the game and return to this save point.

Battle Kyogre and capture it in a PokeBall. It is at Level 50, so use strong attacks to weaken it before you throw PokeBalls.

Travel to a Pokemon Center and use its Trade Service to send Kyogre to a "SoulSilver" version of Pokemon.
