Skype is a convenient, "All-In-One" digital communication program that features text chat, video chat and voice chat, and even works as a telephone on the computer screen. Skype also features a "Plug-in Manager" program that can be used to expand Skype features with third-party plug-in applications. However, the Skype Plug-in Manager can utilize a large amount of resources on some computers. Disable the Skype Plug-in Manager application if your computer is sluggish when running Skype.
