How to Kill a Big Moth
Moths are attracted to artificial light sources (such as patio lights outside an entry way), because they mistake them for natural guiding lights. Moths use the light from the moon and stars to help them navigate and find food at night. When they see an artificial light, they mistake it for the moon or stars and fly to it. To avoid big moths getting in your home, be sure to have screens on your doors and windows, and shut off patio lights when not needed.
