How to Check FPS on "Team Fortress 2"

"Team Fortress 2," or "TF2," is a multi-player, first-person shooter for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game consoles as well as for Windows PC and Mac-based computer systems. As the individual hardware components of computers vary from system to system, every computer that runs "Team Fortress 2" will have different performance levels which can affect "Team Fortress 2's" frames per second, or "FPS." FPS is the number of frames drawn and displayed by a computer in a second and can be affected by your computer's processor and graphics card. You can check your FPS in "Team Fortress 2" by activating the developer console and entering the "cl_showfps 1" command.
