How Can I Open a 5503 Cable Lock?
The 5503 by OnGuard is a four-wheel combination cable lock. The lock features a key/post and lock body at the ends of a vinyl-coated, heavy-duty self-coiling cable. Whether you're setting your personal custom combination for the first time or opening a 5503 that someone previously set up, opening the lock is a quick, simple process. Pick up the lock portion of your 5503 cable lock.

Align the four wheels with the guide points, located to the left and right of the wheels, to match the combination --- the "0-0-0-5" factory combination or a custom combination.

Grasp the areas outside of the guide points with both hands. Pull horizontally to separate the lock body and lock key/post sections to open the lock.

Tips & Warnings
If the combination wheels make noise, don't move or move roughly during use, or if you have difficulty inserting or removing the lock key/post, apply a few drops of a machine lubricating oil between the wheels, in the key/post opening and along the key/post at least once a month. This is especially important if you live in an extremely rainy or dry area.
