How to Copy Information From a Web Page to a Word Document

You can copy and paste information from most Web pages into a Microsoft Word document by using the computer clipboard. How the information appears after you paste it into Word will depend on how the Web page has been written. After they have been pasted, pages using tables or other HTML code may sometimes require cleanup to remove tabs, extra spaces, or line breaks. The Paste Options in Microsoft Word can help you control the formatting of the information. Some information on a Web page, including JavaScript or Flash, for example, will not copy to your clipboard.
