How to Change the Time Zone on a Remote Computer

The time zone that your computer's clock is set to affects what time is displayed in the system tray and what time is used for internal calculations. If you have a remote computer that is accessible to you via the Remote Desktop Connection program, you can log in to the remote computer and change its time zone via the clock utility in the operating system.

      Click the "Start" menu on your local computer, type "remote desktop" and press "Enter" to open the Remote Desktop Connection client.
