1
Wash your face with soap and water. Then, wipe it down with an astringent such as witch hazel to remove any oils.
-
2
Apply a pale shade of foundation to your face, neck and ears. If you are making a major change to your skin tone, you should cover all exposed skin.
The foundation can be applied with a makeup brush, sponge or with your fingers. There is no right or wrong, use the applicator that gives you the best results.

3
Powder the foundation with translucent makeup powder, using either a powder puff or a fluffy powder brush. This will help to keep it from smearing.
-
4
Apply black eyeliner to your upper and lower eyelids.
-
5
A strong eye is essential for a girl's vampire makeup. Apply black or dark gray eyeshadow to the crease of your eyelids, sweeping it up into a dramatic cat's eye at the corners. If needed, accentuate this with white eyeshadow beneath the eyebrow.
-
6
Apply a light coat of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
-
7
Apply dark red lipstick.
-
8
Apply a medium-grey shadow under your cheekbones to emphasize them and make your face appear more dramatic.
