Google Buzz helps users share information with friends.

Google Buzz is an optional feature built in to Google's Gmail service that allows you to share photos and videos and communicate with your friends. This helps you combine social media and websites such as Twitter and Flickr with your email. If you enabled Google Buzz, but do not enjoy using it, you can disable it from within the Gmail settings.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the Gmail homepage and sign in to your Gmail account.

    • 2

Click the "Options" menu on the right side of the Gmail menu and then click "Mail Settings." The "Options" menu has a gear shaped icon.

    • 3

Click the "Buzz" tab on the settings page.

    • 4

Click "Disable Google Buzz" at the bottom of the settings page and click "Save Settings."
