The pixel dimensions of any screen translate into the screen's resolution.

Depending on the size and quality of the monitor you are using with your Mac computer, the monitor's default pixel dimensions can vary greatly. The current pixel dimension of your monitor can be viewed and changed in the computer's System Preferences, allowing you to adjust the resolution of the computer's monitor at any time. If you want to change the pixel dimensions and, thus, the resolution of your Mac monitor, you can do so in a few simple steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "Apple" icon in the computer's menu bar and select the "System Preferences..." option from the Apple menu.

    • 2

    • 3
