How to Make a Checkmark Symbol in Facebook

Using alt code symbols -- small pictures made by pressing the "Alt" key on your keyboard and a number code -- on Facebook is one way to make your posts stand out. Making a check mark to post in your status update or even add to your information is a simple code you can type from almost any keyboard. The check mark made with an alt code is actually a square root symbol, making it useful for posts mathematical in nature as well.
