How to Find My Tumblr RSS

Tumblr provides several ways of keeping up with your friends' blogs. For instance, all Tumblr blogs have a RSS feed associated with them. When you give the feed link to subscribers, other people will be able to follow your Tumblr, even if they don't have a Tumblr account. Many different feed readers, such as Google Reader, read RSS feeds. Depending on the theme you have chosen for your blog, the link to the feed may have been placed in a different location from usual.

      Visit your Tumblr blog, at "yourname.tumblr.com" -- where "yourname" is replaced by your user name.

      Look at the right side of the screen.

      Scroll down and look for the words "RSS Feed" on the right side of the screen, or "RSS" at the top next to the title. Depending on your Tumblr theme, the link may look different. It will be located next to the "Archive" link, which shows all of your previous posts in Tumblr.

      Click the link, or type "yourname.tumblr.com/rss" into the URL box.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use this process with other user's Tumblr blogs, as long as you know their usernames.

  • If you have trouble finding the RSS feed on your theme, type "Ctrl-F" in your browser and type "RSS" in the box that appears.
