How to Set Up WPA-PSK With a MacBook
Wi-Fi protected access-pre-shared key, more commonly known as WPA-PSK, is an encryption standard for wireless networks that helps to protect the data as it's being transmitted between the computer and router. If you want to connect to a WPA-PSK encrypted network on your Macbook laptop computer, you need to select this encryption protocol when you connect to the wireless network in the OS X operating system.
