How to Tag an Organization in a Picture on Facebook
While privacy settings may restrict tagging individuals who are not on your friend's list, certain organization pages are free to tag by any user. As of 2011, Facebook limits eligibility to "pages most likely to appear in photos, such as people and products." If this caveat excludes the organization, a related page, such as the the fan page for cause's founder or an outreach service may qualify. If the organization's page settings do not restrict it, the photo could appear on the tagged group's page just as post tags do.

Tips & Warnings
While Facebook encourages businesses and organizations to abandon personal profiles and set up groups and fan pages, some organizations maintain a personal profile meant for individuals using the group's name or the name of a mascot. A personal profile page must be "Friended" before you may tag the group in photos without restriction.
