How to Print Your Own Tarot Template

Reading tarot from a printout template helps you memorize spreads.

Learning to read tarot cards gives you the ability to entertain friends and profile your character. One way of improving your absorption of tarot meanings and spreads is to create your own template printout. A template printout of each spread you learn keeps you focused as you experiment with tarot divination. Knowing how to print out your own tarot spread template gives you the ability to keep a diagrammed reference on hand for when you practice reading for your friends and yourself.

Things You'll Need

• Sheet of paper
• Printer

Instructions

1. Start a template measuring 1000 by 1000 pixels in Microsoft Paint or another program of your choice.

2. Select the rectangular shape tool in the paint program you are using. Decide on the type of spread you want for your template. For example, a basic spread is the Celtic cross. Place a 3-by-6 inch rectangle in the center of the template. Layer another rectangle of the same shape horizontally across the first. This is the beginning of the Celtic cross spread. If you're using a different spread for this template, follow the visual of the spread to guide you.

3. Repeat Step 2 with the rectangle tool until you have placed all of the rectangles, which symbolize the tarot cards.

4. Select the "Print Preview" option in the program you are using. Place a sheet of paper into the feeder of your printer.

5. Resize the image to stretch over an entire sheet of printer paper via the "Print Preview" screen. Click "Print" when you are done. Do this for as many templates as you want.
